With over 30 years of insurance industry experience, Suzy Alberts has been an insurance broker since 2001 and currently works for Comprehensive Benefits Inc., in Southfield, Michigan.
Her past NABIP service includes being president of both the Michigan and Metro Detroit chapters. In addition to serving on various local, state and regional committees, Suzy has served as Chair of the National Communication Committee, Leading Producer’s Round Table (LPRT), the Awards Committees, and the Media Relations Committee.
In 2003, Suzy received NABIP's Distinguished Service Award and received the Spirit of Metro Detroit Award in 2016. In 2019, she was honored with the Region 3 Linda Erlenbach Lifetime Achievement Award. Suzy is a Lifetime Member in NABIP’s Leading Producer’s Round Table and attained the Soaring Eagle qualification in 2014.
In addition to work with NABIP, Suzy also serves on the Education Committee and Compliance Collaborative for United Benefits Advisors (UBA).
In addition to her passion for her industry, she is involved with Gleaners Food Bank of Greater Metro Detroit and other community service activities to provide food and housing to the homeless in the Metro Detroit area. Suzy and her husband, Paul Bauer, live in Warren, Michigan.
