Licensed agents and brokers may charge fees in addition to receiving commissions, but all such compensation must be provided for in the premium quoted to and paid by the insured.  La. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 22:1964. 
Licensed agents may receive reimbursement from the insured for expenses incurred by the agent directly related to the insurance coverage for the insured (under the terms of a written agreement) and reasonable agency fees so long as such fees are separately stated and collected through an invoice.  La. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 22:855.
