Juliana received her BS in Management from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and a Masters of Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. Julie has worked in the insurance and managed care industry for more than 40 years, holding positions related to worker’s compensation, TPA administration, group health sales and account management, member services, marketing and sales operations, and sales incentive compensation with major insurance companies and managed care organizations. Julie was a part-time instructor in the Risk Management and Insurance Department of Georgia State University in Atlanta for 17 years where she taught junior and senior level undergraduate courses. She was an adjunct assistant professor of health insurance at the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Julie began teaching professional designation classes for the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals of Atlanta in 2001 and has continued these classes through NABIP since 2008.
