Trevor J. Garbers is HUB International’s senior vice president, practice leader – voluntary benefits. Today, HUB International is the 8th largest insurance broker in the world and 9th largest employee benefits broker in the U.S. With 18 years of experience in employee benefits, Trevor oversees strategic planning, regional and national carrier partnerships and resource development for voluntary benefits at HUB International. In his role, he brings a strong national holistic approach with regards to total healthcare cost, plan development and execution. In addition to his capacity at HUB, he is the co-founder/editor at Voluntary Advantage, a digital platform with the mission to drive awareness and advancement nationally in the voluntary benefits marketplace. He also serves on multiple carrier broker advisory boards nationally. Prior to HUB International, he held the position of vice president of national accounts with Allstate Benefits where he worked with national and jumbo accounts throughout the United States. Prior to Allstate Benefits, he held marketing and sales positions with Colorado Bankers Life. Trevor earned an MSE degree from Wayne State. He also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration from Dakota State University in addition to, an Associates of Arts Degree in Communications from Waldorf College.
