About the Course
When insurance carriers and independent agencies hire college graduates for insurance agent positions, they have nowhere to turn for quality basic training. In today’s challenging health insurance market, new agents are in need of a basic nuts and bolts overview about how health insurance markets work and what agents need to know to get started in health insurance sales. To meet this need, NABIP has developed a two-hour Health Insurance 101 program. The program is designed to explain health insurance in basic terms, and also provide new insurance professionals with contact information for resources that can provide additional help as they dive into their sales career.
