During his year as president of NABIP, Eric spearheaded association initiatives that shaped new foundational principles outlined in the NABIP Healthcare Bill of Rights. Not only did this initiative transform the future for NABIP, it continues shaping the future of healthcare in America. With a passion for leadership and mentorship, Eric empowered the NABIP Board as well as remodeled committees and teams of leaders so they could reach their full potential while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and conviction to move the association into the future.
Recognized by his peers with both the Iowa Legacy and National Distinguished Service Awards as well as an appointment by two Iowa governors to lead an instrumental healthcare program in his state, Eric continues to command a lasting impact in both NABIP and the healthcare industry.
When not leading transformative projects, he and his wife are raising three wonderful children who, by their example, understand the importance of giving back to their community and profession through volunteerism.
He approaches the end of his tenure on the national board by aligning and delivering a strong foundation for future leaders of NABIP to advance upon.
