Caroline Musumarra plays a pivotal role in shaping the Government Affairs strategy at the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). She oversees key advocacy initiatives and political engagement efforts, managing NABIP’s political action committee and directing strategic fundraising while ensuring compliance with campaign finance regulations. Caroline also leads the planning and execution of NABIP’s annual Capitol Conference, creating critical opportunities for members to connect with lawmakers and engage directly in policy discussions on Capitol Hill.
With extensive experience in electoral politics, campaign fundraising, political advocacy, and campaign management, Caroline has held senior roles with national political campaigns, congressional committees, and trade associations. She has successfully developed and executed multimillion-dollar fundraising programs, expanded grassroots advocacy networks, and cultivated high-level relationships to advance key policy initiatives.
At NABIP, Caroline’s efforts are focused on strengthening the association’s influence in legislative and regulatory arenas. Her deep understanding of political processes, coupled with a strategic approach to advocacy, enables her to advance NABIP’s mission and enhance the organization’s political presence at both the state and federal levels.
