Full Registration

The full conference ticket includes access to all keynote sessions, legislative briefings, panel discussions, NABIP regional meetings, and meetings with congressional staff. You’ll also enjoy a continental breakfast on Monday and Tuesday, lunch on Monday, coffee breaks, networking receptions, and access to the exhibitor showcase.

One-Day Registration

The one-day registration is available for those who wish to attend the Capitol Conference on either Monday, February 24, or Tuesday, February 25. This registration grants access to the day’s main events, keynote presentations, and networking opportunities, providing a focused and enriching experience for attendees looking to engage with industry leaders and peers without committing to the full conference duration.

Guest Registration

The guest registration for Capitol Conference allows non-industry attendees such as spouses, children, or companions of registered attendees to access the full conference. This pass includes entry to main events, keynote presentations, and networking opportunities, providing a comprehensive experience of the conference atmosphere. Please note that guest registration holders are not permitted to attend breakout sessions or regional meetings.

Totally 90's Cap Con Welcome Party

Ready to take a time machine back to the 90’s? Join us for the annual Welcome Party, the ultimate throwback experience, on Sunday, February 23, from 7:30-10:30 pm at Penn Social in downtown Washington, DC.

Whether you’re channeling your inner grunge rocker, boy band heartthrob, or sitcom star, this 90’s-themed bash is the perfect way to kick off Capitol Conference in style.

The night will be packed with everything you love about the 90’s: iconic music, nostalgic games, and photo zones straight out of your favorite childhood memories. And don’t miss the 90’s Costume Contest, where you can show off your creativity and compete for fun prizes!

Tickets are $55 if you register by January 10, or $65 after that date. Proceeds directly benefit NABIP PAC, supporting its Administrative Fund and helping to strengthen advocacy efforts. Your ticket includes a complimentary drink, an all-American buffet, and access to the best dance floor in DC, where the greatest hits of the decade will keep you moving all night long.

Congressional Reception hosted by NABIP PAC

Taking place on Tuesday, February 25, at 6 pm, the Annual Congressional Reception provides an exclusive platform to interact with members of Congress, chiefs of staff, and key influencers. After a day of impactful lobbying, continue the conversation and make your expertise count in discussions that influence the policies and decisions shaping our industry. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or attending Capitol Conference for the first time, this event welcomes your voice and perspective.

Tickets are $150 per person, with all proceeds benefiting NABIP PAC. Members of NABIP PAC’s Capitol Club, contributing $1,000 or more annually, can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $75 by contacting Caroline Musumarra. The cost of the ticket will count toward your annual NABIP PAC contribution.

Leadership Forum

NABIP's Annual Leadership Forum is designed for future chapter leaders, emphasizing essential tools and resources to help chapters thrive. This year’s forum offers informative sessions, open discussions, and valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to learn from peers, share experiences, and enhance leadership skills.

The forum will take place on Sunday, February 23, the day before Capitol Conference, at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C., from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch will be provided to all registered attendees, with check-in beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Incoming state and local chapter officers including presidents, presidents-elect, executive directors, and other chapter officers are invited to attend. Space is limited, so pre-registration is highly recommended. Onsite registration may be available, though seating cannot be guaranteed. Each chapter may send up to two officers.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

NABIP PAC Capitol Club Breakfast

The Capitol Club Breakfast, an exclusive invitation-only event, will take place on Wednesday, February 26, from 8-9:30 a.m. This event is reserved for NABIP PAC donors who are part of our Capitol Club, contributing over $1,000 to the PAC. The location details will be announced shortly.

Registration Policies and Procedures

Personal Information

By registering for the Event, you consent to NABIP collecting, storing, and transmitting your personally identifiable information to our Event sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors, and agree to receive messages from NABIP promoting the Event and other NABIP programs and services. Consistent with NABIP 's privacy policy (found here), we do not otherwise sell, rent, or lease any lists to any third party.

Payment

Registrations will not be processed without payment. All payments must be made with a credit card.

Cancellations and Refunds

NABIP reserves the right to cancel any Event. In the unlikely event of cancellation, NABIP is not responsible for any costs, damages, or other expenses of any kind, including and without limitation, transportation, hotel, or other costs incurred by the registrant.

Attendee cancellations in advance of the cancellation deadline will be honored. To cancel your registration, please send a written notification to meetings@nabip.org on or before February 7, 2025 (telephone cancellations will not be accepted).

No refunds will be given for cancellations after February 7, 2025.

Refunds are issued to those attendees who have notified NABIP in writing by the cancellation date indicated above. All refunds are subject to a $100 processing fee. Please allow 60 business days after cancellation for refund processing.

Substitutions

NABIP does not allow substitutions of attendees for any Event. Each registration is specific to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person.

Fees

No Retroactive Fees Adjustments. Once you have registered, your fees will not be adjusted downward based on any sponsorship, discount, or any other reason.

Photography and Recording

NABIP may, including through third-party contractors or agents, record all or parts of the Event via photography, video, audio, or other means. In consideration for being able to attend NABIP's Event, you hereby grant to NABIP your full and complete irrevocable permission, without reservation or restriction, to photograph you, record you, or both, at the Event, and to use said photograph(s) or recording(s) in any manner for NABIP’s marketing and other legitimate business purposes, without any compensation, benefit, or notice to you.

Member-Only Sessions

Most NABIP Event sessions are considered open to press and on the record. Like many industry conferences, NABIP Events also occasionally include panels, keynotes and forums that are for members-only. If a session is for members-only, press are not allowed to attend.

Code of Conduct

All Event attendees (including speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, or other participants) must comply with this Code of Conduct. Event attendees are expected to treat other attendees with respect and consideration and must not engage in harassing or disruptive behaviors. Anyone asked to stop such behavior is expected to comply immediately.

NABIP defines harassment to include offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, gender identity, or disability; use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); deliberate intimidation, stalking or unwelcome following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; and unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.

NABIP Event attendees often combine professional activities with social interaction and while NABIP encourages such networking and strengthening of connections, NABIP reserves the right, in its discretion, to remove or bar anyone whose social attentions become unwelcome to another attendee, who appears inebriated, or who engages in conduct that interferes with the ability of other attendees to participate in and enjoy the Event.

Assumption of Risks; Releases

You expressly assume all risks associated with, resulting from or arising in connection with your participation or presence at the Event, including, without limitation, all risks of loss, harm, damage or injury to property or person (including the risk of contracting COVID-19 or other disease or illness, or death), whether caused by negligence, intentional act, accident, act of God or otherwise. You acknowledge and agree that NABIP shall not be liable for, and in consideration of your participation in the Event you hereby release NABIP from, any and all risks, losses, damages and liabilities whatsoever which may arise in connection with your participation in the Event.

Violations

If you violate these Terms and Conditions, or any rules and regulations governing the Event, NABIP may take action, including but not limited to barring you from continued attendance or participation in some or all of the Event, without refund of any fees paid, and/or barring you from attendance at or participation in future NABIP events or activities.
